Legends—"Meng Jiangnv"...

The oldest Chinese inscriptions that are indisputably writing are the Oracle bone script (Chinese:甲骨文; Hanyu Pinyin:jiǎgǔwén; literally "shell-bone-script").The oracle bone script is a well-developed writing system, attested from the late Shang Dynasty (1200-1050 B.C.) from Anyang, and from Zhengzhou, dated 1600 BC[citation needed].In addition, there are very few logographs found on pottery shards and cast in bronzes, known as the Bronze script (Chinese:金文; Hanyu Pinyin:jīnwén),which is very similar to but more complex and pictorial than the Oracle Bone Script.Only about 1,400 of the 2,500 known Oracle Bone logographs can be identified with later Chinese characters and therefore easily read. However,it should be noted that these 1,400 logographs include most of the commonly used ones.

We provide you the Chinese pinyin table, which would help you:

  1. Practice and use the four tones in Chinese.

Chinese is a tonal language, which means that the tone is different, the meaning of the word is different, although their reading and spelling are the same. If you want to speak Chinese correctly, then learning these different tones is undoubtedly the basic requirement. Chinese has the following four tones:

  1. Find a native Chinese speaker.

One of the best ways to improve the new language skills you are learning is to talk to people who are native speakers of this language. They can easily help you correct pronunciation or grammatical errors, but also teach you a lot of idioms or slang that you can't find in textbook.

  1. Learn basic grammar.

People often think that Chinese does not have grammar, it is wrong. Chinese grammar does exist, but they are very different from grammar in Europe or other language systems. Unlike these languages, Chinese is a very strong analytical language, which is both good news and bad news for language learners.
